It is the responsibility of all players to protect the hacks during play to prevent damage to the ice around the hacks.

Even minor contact with a stone can cause substantial damage to the ice around the hack.

If you do not feel comfortable stopping the rocks from hitting the hacks, the club has hack protectors that can be used during your game.

A friendly tournament was organized to mark the start of the 2024-2025 season. A total of 6 teams took part in the event, which was held on October 4, 5 and 6. Teams were divided into 2 pools, and each team met the 3 teams from the other group. The 2 teams with the highest scores competed in the final.

The participating teams were :

• Team Boudriau
• Team Desrochers
• Team Ménard
• Team MacCallum
• Team Janigan
• Team Gilroy

The winning team in the final is “Team MacCallum” and the runner-up is “Team Janigan”.

We would like to thank all the players who took part in the 2024 edition of the “Opening Tournament”. Special thanks to those who prepared the ices for this event. Finally, we'd like to thank Cathy MacCallum, who prepared deserts for us all to enjoy.

Priority Announcement

To keep the ice clean, we are asking that you clean your shoes and gripper (including the inside).  If your gripper is getting old, it will be leaving piece of rubber on the ice and could ruin your next perfect shot (don’t blame the ice). The club has an inventory of grippers for sale.
